Title: Health Information Technology: Electronic Health Record (EHR) Certification Criteria Updates and Revisions to the EHR Incentive Program (CMS-0046-F) 
Abstract:

This final rule revises the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs by adding exclusions to the measures for the stage 2 meaningful use objectives for electronic notes, and providing electronic laboratory results to ambulatory providers, revising the clinical quality measure (CQM) for breast cancer screening by removing National Quality Forum, and making the case number threshold exemption for CQM reporting effective for eligible hospitals and critical access hospitals beginning with Fiscal Year 2013.
