| Title: End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Treatment Choices (ETC) Model Updates (CMS-5543) | |
|
Abstract:
The ESRD ETC Model is a mandatory model that incentivizes greater use of home dialysis and transplantation. Participants are rewarded for greater use of home dialysis and penalized for not meeting achievement and improvement benchmarks. Hurricane Helene affected home dialysis supply across the country. This interim final rule would make policy changes to the model to account for its effects and effects from other unforeseen circumstances that impair model participant’s ability to perform in the model. |
