Abstract:
This rule rescinds a restriction on States’ consideration of immigration status to determine State residency for purposes of Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) eligibility. The restriction was finalized in the Medicaid Program; Eligibility Changes Under the Affordable Care Act of 2010” final rule that appeared in the Federal Register on March 23, 2012.
