Title: Federal Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income, Medical and Other Evidence of Your Impairment(s) and Definition of Medical Consultant (469F) 
Abstract: We will add speech-language pathologists, licensed podiatrists, and licensed or certified school psychologists to the list of acceptable medical sources in our current regulations. These sources will assist us in establishing the existence of impairments within their areas of expertise. We will also revise the definition of the term "medical consultant" to clarify what we mean by an acceptable medical source.
