| Title: Clarifications to Rules Governing the Implementation and Coverage of International Totalization Agreements (3552P) | |
| Abstract: We propose to amend our rules to make clear that we can accept foreign verification of records from totalization agreement countries. Additionally, we propose to clearly provide that a determination of whether to issue a certificate of coverage under international totalization agreements is not an initial determination subject to further administrative review. These clarifications would conform our regulations to both our agreements and our long-standing operational policies and practices. | |
