Abstract:
This NPRM will propose to codify provisions of section 812 of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015, which requires the exclusion of evidence from certain sources during the disability determination process. These prohibited sources include physicians or health care providers who 1) Were convicted of a felony under section 208 or 1632 of the Social Security Act; 2) have been excluded from participating in any Federal health care program under section 1128 of the Act; or 3) had CMPs imposed on them under section 1129 of the Act for submission of false evidence. |
