| Title: ●Online and On-Demand Delivery of Social Security Statements | |
|
Abstract:
The online Social Security Statement is widely used by our customers, with tens of millions of downloads each year. We propose to discontinue automatically mass mailing Social Security Statements each year, while continuing to provide the Statements online and on-demand when requested by a customer. Discontinuing the automatic mailing of Statements is projected to save the agency approximately $11.8 million annually, which will mitigate rising postage costs and responsibly manage taxpayer resources. |
