| Abstract: This rule implements title III of the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008, which gave Indian tribes expanded direct access to Federal funding for foster care and adoption assistance programs. The rule establishes requirements for transferring care of a child under a State foster care plan to a tribal plan. It also address in-kind expenditures from third-party sources for purposes of determining the non-Federal share of administrative and training expenditures. | |
