Title: Designation Renewal of Head Start Grantees  
Abstract: This rule would implement provisions of the Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007 (Pub. L. 110-134), requiring the Secretary to develop a system that will evaluate each grantee's performance every five years to determine which grantees are providing services of such high quality that they should be given another five-year grant without needing to recompete for the grant.
