Title: Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System 
Abstract:

The Children's Bureau proposed to delay the effective date in the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS) notice of proposed rulemaking for title IV-E agencies to comply with sections 1355.41 through 1355.47 for an additional two fiscal years.  We are delaying the effective date due to our advanced notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) seeking public comment on suggestions for streamlining the AFCARS data elements and removing any undue burden related to reporting AFCARS.
