Title: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act--Enforcement 
Abstract: This rulemaking would seek to establish a framework for enforcing compliance with the "administrative simplification" provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 -- subtitle F of title II of Public Law 104-191, through the imposition of civil money penalties under 42 USC 1320d-5.
