Title: ●Freedom of Information Regulations 
Abstract:

This proposed rule updates and revises the Department of Health and Human Services' Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) regulations, to reflect the changes in the FOIA  that have occurred since the Department last issued its FOIA regulations in 1988. The proposed rule will implement the noteworthy amendments to the FOIA including the E-FOIA Act and the Open Government Act enacted since 1988 and also will help the public better understand and navigate the FOIA process.
