| Title: Reclamation Rural Water Supply Program | |
| Abstract: This rule will establish criteria for appraisal and feasibility studies on the water supply needs for rural communities in the 17 western states. The Rural Water Supply Act authorized the creation of a rural water program to formalize the Bureau's ongoing rural water activities. Appropriations are expected to be less than $15 million annually. Through this program, Reclamation will work with non-Federal entities to plan and design safe and adequate rural water supply projects for domestic, municipal, and industrial use in small communities and rural areas. | |
