Title: Alternative Energy and Alternate Uses of Existing Facilities on the Outer Continental Shelf  
Abstract: This rulemaking is required by section 388 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This rule would establish a cohesive Federal permitting process for alternate energy-related uses on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS), including renewable energy development, and for alternate uses of existing OCS platforms.
