Title: Hurricane Requirements
Abstract: This rulemaking would require all Mobile Offshore Drilling Units and floating production facilities to be equipped with tracking beacons to record rig location after or during hurricanes. This would provide location information in the event a facility breaks free from its moorings. This would assist response teams during and after a hurricane.
