Title: ●Consumer Price Index Adjustments of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 Limit of Liability for Offshore Facilities  
Abstract:

This final rule adjusts the offshore facility limit of liability for damages under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA) to reflect the increase in the Consumer Price Index since 2018, as required by OPA. The adjustment is calculated using the methodology specified in current BOEM regulations.
