Title: Policy for Evaluation of Conservation Efforts in Endangered Species Decisionmaking 
Abstract: The Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Marine Fisheries Service announce a draft policy for the evaluation of conservation efforts in making listing decisions under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). The policy identifies criteria to be used in determining whether conservation agreements, conservation plans, management plans, or other formalized conservation efforts remove the need to list a species as threatened or endangered under the Act.
