| Title: Mosquito and Mosquito-Borne Disease Management | |
| Abstract: This Service Manual chapter (606 FW 2) provides policy for refuge managers to apply when determining how and when mosquito populations may be managed on lands administered within the National Wildlife Refuge System. This draft chapter is based on science and includes a requirement for data gathering both prior to and after management actions. The chapter also includes a provision for actions taken during emergencies. This chapter applies to all units of the Refuge System where we have jurisdiction over such actions, whether mosquito management is performed by the Service or by an outside agency. | |
