Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Status for Flying Earwig Hawaiian Damselfly and Pacific Hawaiian Damselfly
Abstract: We are making a final determination on listing two species of Hawaiian damselflies that have been candidates for endangered listing since 1984: Flying earwig Hawaiian damselfly (Megalagrion nesiotes), now known from only one population on the island of Maui, and the Pacific Hawaiian damselfly (M. pacificum), now known from one population on the island of Hawaii and a few populations each on the islands of Maui and Molokai. We have determined that critical habitat for these two species is prudent but not determinable at this time.
