Title: Injurious Wildlife Evaluation; Constrictor Species From Python, Boa, and Eunectes Genera
Abstract: We will review public comments and peer review comments from the proposed rule in preparation for making a final determination to list one or more of the nine species of large constrictor snakes as injurious wildlife under the Lacey Act. An injurious wildlife listing would prohibit the importation into, or transportation between, States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or any U.S. territory or possession by any means, except by permit for zoological, educational, medical, or scientific purposes.
