Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Woodland Caribou
Abstract: We plan to propose to designate critical habitat for the woodland caribou (Rangifer tarandus caribou) under the Endangered Species Act. In 1984, we listed the species as endangered under the ESA. The species occurs in northern Idaho and western Washington in the United States, and in southern British Columbia in Canada.
