| Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Establishment of a Nonessential Experimental Population of American Burying Beetle in Southwest Missouri | |
| Abstract: Under section 10(j) of the Endangered Species Act, we propose to establish a nonessential experimental population of the American burying beetle, an endangered species, in Missouri. This rule would aid in reintroducing the species into the Wah'kon-tah Prairie in southwest Missouri. The 3,000-acre Wah'kon-tah Prairie is in the center of the four counties (Cedar, St. Clair, Bates, and Vernon) that would be the boundaries of the nonessential experimental population area. | |
