We will, if determined prudent and determinable, designate critical habitat for the Sierra Nevada yellow-legged frog, the northern distinct population segment (DPS) of the mountain yellow-legged frog, and the Yosemite toad. In total, critical habitat is being designated for the Sierra Nevada yellow-legged frog across 16 California counties; for the northern DPS of the mountain yellow-legged frog across 2 California counties; and for the Yosemite toad across 7 California counties. There is significant overlap in the covered area for these three species.
