Abstract: FWS listed as endangered two Texas fish species, the sharpnose shiner (Notropis oxyrhynchus) and smalleye shiner (Notropis buccula), pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. These two small fish occur in the Brazos River Basin of Texas. Critical habitat was designated under RIN 1018-AZ34.
