Abstract: FWS designated critical habitat in the terrestrial environment for the Northwest Atlantic distinct population segment (DPS) of the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) under the ESA of 1973, as amended. States with loggerhead nesting range from North Carolina south to Florida and the Gulf of Mexico States.
