| Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination for the Northern Wormwood | |
|
Abstract:
We will make a determination regarding listing the northern wormwood under the Endangered Species Act. Currently a candidate for listing, northern wormwood is a low-growing, tap-rooted biennial or perennial plant. This species grows in basalt, compacted cobble, and sand on the banks of the Columbia River in two known populations in Washington State, one in Grant County and one in Klickitat County. We will make a designation regarding critical habitat for this species in a separate rulemaking action (RIN 1018-BA17). |
