| Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination for Red Mountain Buckwheat and Red Mountain Stonecrop | |
| Abstract: FWS will make a listing determination for two Red Mountain plants, the Red Mountain buckwheat and the Red Mountain stonecrop, pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. The FWS is required to designate critical habitat, to the maximum extent prudent and determinable, concurrent with a listing determination for the species. FWS will develop a critical habitat designation for the two as a separate rulemaking action (1018-AZ94). The Red Mountain buckwheat is an herbaceous perennial found in serpentine habitat on Red Mountain and Little Red Mountain, Mendocino County, California. The Red Mountain stonecrop is a forb/herbaceous perennial found in serpentine habitat in the vicinity of Red Mountain, near the town of Leggett, Mendocino County, California. | |
