Title: National Wildlife Refuge System; Law Enforcement Inspection Authority on Refuge Lands 
Abstract:

To protect the wildlife within refuge lands, our Division of Refuge Law Enforcement is considering the creation of regulations to allow Federal wildlife officers to conduct inspections of wildlife taken and hunting or fishing equipment used. This enforcement authority would include making inspection refusal a prohibited act similar to regulations implemented by the National Park Service. We are now planning to incorporate these provisions into a larger revision of the refuge system regulations.
