Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination for the African Lion Subspecies 
Abstract: We are conducting a status review as a result of a petition to list the African lion subspecies found in approximately 30 countries across Africa. After review of the best available scientific and commercial information, we will conclude whether listing this subspecies is not warranted, warranted, or warranted but precluded by other higher priority actions. If we find listing for this subspecies is warranted, we will publish a proposed rule concurrently.
