Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Florida Bristle Fern
Abstract: FWS will, if determined to be prudent and determinable, designate critical habitat for the Florida bristle fern under the Endangered Species Act, as amended (ESA). The Florida bristle fern occurs in Florida and is currently a candidate for listing under the ESA. The FWS is required to designate critical habitat, to the maximum extent prudent and determinable, concurrent with a listing determination for the species. FWS will develop a listing determination for the species as a separate rulemaking action (RIN 1018-AY97).
