| Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Columbia Spotted Frog Distinct Population Segment | |
| Abstract: FWS will designate critical habitat, if determined to be prudent and determinable, for the Columbia spotted frog distinct population segment (DPS) pursuant to the ESA. Columbia spotted frogs are closely associated with clear, slow-moving or ponded surface waters, with little shade and relatively constant water temperatures. Columbia spotted frogs in the Great Basin DPS are found in southeastern Oregon, southwestern Idaho, and north central Nevada. FWS will develop a listing determination for the species, as a separate rulemaking action (RIN 1018-BA35). | |
