| Title: ●Administrative Requirements, Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration and Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Acts | |
|
Abstract:
The establishing legislation for the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration programs applies a formula that uses information on numbers of hunting and fishing license holders to determine funding apportionments from the Wildlife Restoration Trust Fund and Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund accounts. We have been advised by many of our State partners that we need to move quickly to clarify an equitable and appropriate way to count multi-year licenses for accurate apportionments to State fish and wildlife agencies. We would make a targeted change for clarification in the current rule. |
