Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Yellow Lance
Abstract:

We designate critical habitat for the yellow lance (Elliptio lanceolata) under the Endangered Species Act. This threatened mussel species is found in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. In total, approximately 319 river miles (mi) (514 kilometers (km)) fall within 11 units of critical habitat in those States. This rule extends the Act’s protections to the yellow lance’s designated critical habitat.
