FWS will make listing determinations, based on the best available scientific and commercial data, for five species of terrestrial mollusks (Vespericola pressleyi, Trilobopsis roperi, Vespericola shasta, Monadenia troglodytes troglodytes, and Monadenia troglodytes ssp. wintu) under the Endangered Species Act. These mollusks are found in California. If we determine that listing is warranted, we will also propose to designate critical habitat for these species, if prudent and determinable. These species status determinations are included in a multi-species settlement agreement where the court requires completion of 12-month findings under section 4 of the Endangered Species Act for 76 species by the end of fiscal year 2029. The court order does not provide specific dates for each species but requires completion of a minimum number of actions in each fiscal year.  These actions count toward the minimum required number of 12-month findings to comply with the court's order.
