| Title: Migratory Bird Hunting; Revised Regulatory Process | |
|
Abstract:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is responsible for regulating migratory game bird hunting. The current rulemaking process requires publication of multiple documents in the Federal Register every year. The Service is seeking to develop a more efficient process that eliminates the need for annual rulemaking. Our goal is to better serve State partners and the hunting public while continuing to meet the legal requirements and conservation purposes of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. |
