Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Endangered Species Status for Seven Pangolin Species 
Abstract:

FWS will make a final determination on our porposal to list four species of Asian pangolin (Philippine pangolin (Manis culionensis), Chinese pangolin (Manis pentadactyla), Sundapangolin (Manis javanica), and Indian pangolin (Manis crassicaudata)) and three species of African pangolin (giant pangolin (Manis gigantea), long-tailed pangolin (Mantis tetradactyla), and tree pangolin (Manis tricuspis)) as endangered species under the Endangered Species Act. The Asian species of this mammal were historically found in approximately 17 countries, and the African species in approximately 24 countries.
