Abstract:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), in response to a request under the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 (MMPA), as amended, from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), propose to authorize nonlethal, incidental take by harassment of Southwest Alaska stock of northern sea otters (Enhydra lutris kenyoni) that may occur during the DOT &PF' s replacement of the dock in Cold Bay, Alaska for a period of up to five years. |
