Title: ●Revision of the Regulations Implementing the Wild Bird Conservation Act of 1992
Abstract:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) proposes to revise regulations implementing the Wild Bird Conservation Act. The revised regulations will more effectively promote species conservation and provide more clarity to the public on the requirements under the Act. The update to these regulations will use approximately 30 years of Wild Bird Conservation Act implementation experience to clarify the requirements under the Act, permit application procedures, and issuance criteria for permits. This proposed rule will address any redundancies or unnecessary regulations and revise sections for better readability.
