| Title: Golden Gate National Recreation Area--Dog Management | |
| Abstract: This rule would establish the manner and extent of dog walking to minimize conflicts between user groups and maximize compliance to protect resources, visitors, and staff. The rule would allow some areas of off-leash dog walking, but under strict, enforceable guidelines and in areas where impacts to resources or other users would be minimal. Current management is the result of a 2004 court decision that disallows any change to dog management until a special regulation is completed. | |
