View Rule

The rule would regulate the use of airboats and motor vehicles off roads at Big Cypress National Preserve.  It would require permits to operate airboats and motor vehicles off roads, designate trails where airboats and motor vehicles may be used off roads, close designated trails and access points under certain conditions, and allow the Superintendent to establish additional closures and restrictions. Unless authorized by special regulations, operating a motor vehicle off roads within areas of the National Park System is prohibited.
