Title: ●Assateague Island National Seashore; Oversand Vehicles 
Abstract:

This proposed rule would amend the special regulations for Assateague National Seashore to eliminate the 10,000-pound vehicle weight restriction and modify the minimum vehicle ground clearance for Assateague Island Oversand Vehicle Permits. These proposed changes would reflect current technology and modern vehicle manufacturing specifications that have changed since the regulations were first promulgated in the 1970's. This proposed rule would be informed by civic engagement and public participation opportunities throughout the park planning process.
