Title: ●Alaska; Hunting and Trapping in National Preserves 
Abstract:

This proposed rule would rescind the National Park Service (NPS) final rule "Alaska; Hunting and Trapping in National Preserves" that published on July 3, 2024 (89 FR 55059) and reinstate the NPS final rule rule "Alaska; Hunting and Trapping in National Preserves” that published on June 9, 2020 (85 FR 35181). This action is directed by Executive Order (EO) 14153. Unleashing Alaska’s Extraordinary Resource Potential, and would more closely align sport hunting regulations in national preserves in Alaska with State of Alaska regulations, helping to ensure that hunting opportunities on Federal lands are consistent with similar opportunities on State lands.
