| Title: ●Revisions to Bicycle Regulations | |
|
Abstract:
This proposed rule would modify the procedural requirements in existing NPS regulations for the designation of roads and trails for bicycle use within park areas. The changes would allow the NPS to more efficiently and effectively authorize bicycle use in appropriate locations, creating new opportunities for the use and enjoyment of the National Park System, consistent with the NPS’s responsibility to protect resources and visitors. This rule would apply the revised procedural requirements to traditional bicycles and electric bicycles. |
