Abstract: The Office of Surface Mining, Reclamation, and Enforcement intends to publish a final rule to vacate the 2008 Stream Buffer Zone rule in accordance with a U.S. District Court ruling on February 20, 2014. The rule will reinstate provisions of the 1983 stream buffer zones.
