| Title: ●Ten-Day Notices and Corrective Action for State Regulatory Program Issues | |
|
Abstract:
This proposed rule would amend OSMRE's regulations on 10-day notices under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act (SMCRA). The amendments would increase coordination between OSMRE and State and Tribal regulatory authorities (RAs) on resolution of citizen complaints. This rule, if finalized, is intended to eliminate redundant investigative efforts between OSMRE and the RAs resulting in faster resolution to citizen complaints. |
