Title: Appeals From Administrative Actions
Abstract: Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) plans to update the regulations governing administrative appeals in order to: (1) Clarify who has a right to appeal; (2) provide firm deadlines for filing appeals and responses; (3) provide options to appellants if BIA delays making a decision on an appeal; and (4) provide an expedited process for certain classes of appeals.
