| Title: ●Heating, Cooling and Lighting Standards for Bureau-Funded Dormitory Facilities--School Facilities Design Handbook Update | |
|
Abstract:
The Bureau is updating the School Facilities Design Handbook, dated March 30, 2007, that has been incorporated by reference into 25 CFR 36, approved by the Director of the Federal Register in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 552(a). Under 25 CFR 36.104(c), the Bureau must publish any successor document and allow 120 days for public comment and consultation. This rule would update the incorporation by reference and allow for the 120-day comment period. The Handbook updates are highly technical and are not expected to be controversial, as they merely bring design standards up to industry standard. Additional information on this rulemaking will now be published under RIN 1076-AF26. |
