| Title: Interior Board of Land Appeals and Other Appeals Procedures | |
| Abstract: This rule would (1) state how to request reconsideration of a decision; (2) limit the number of pleadings that may be filed by parties in appeals to IBLA; (3) update addresses for serving copies of notices of appeal; (4) state when IBLA may refer a case for a hearing before an administrative law judge; and (5) specify a period for filing an appeal of a judge's order. It will also (1) state when IBLA may consolidate appeals; (2) establish standards for granting extensions for filing pleadings; (3) prescribe procedures for motions in appeals; and (4) state when a person may intervene in an appeal. | |
