Abstract:
This rule establishes procedures for hearings related to Federal acknowledgment of Indian tribes. A companion rule (at 25 CFR part 83) provides a Federal acknowledgment petitioner the opportunity to request a hearing upon a negative proposed finding. This rule establishes the procedures for the hearing, based on procedures used in other types of hearings. |
