Abstract:
On November 27, 2020, by a rule titled Manner of Federal Executions (RIN 1105-AB63) the Department of Justice amended its regulations to expand the permissible means of federal execution by authorizing any manner permitted by relevant State law, and permitting the use of State and local facilities and personnel in federal executions, and to make other amendments. The Department is now reevaluating and reconsidering revisions to 28 CFR part 26. |
